With the tightening security measures, it is becoming more difficult for us to be able to track your progress. It is extremely important that if delays or cancellations occur that you communicate this information to our Director of Student Life in Austria, Nick Jacobson, as quickly as possible. We cannot inquire at the flight counter if you made a connecting flight. The airline personnel will NOT provide any personal information to us (if you are on a flight or not). This becomes difficult because we typically wait for 45 min after a flight has landed but if you do not come out of the customs area, we are left wondering if you made the flight or not.
- Please – know your flight itinerary! Pay close attention to the amount of time you have for a connection. Please… be prepared on the day you fly – it makes the arrival and pickup process a lot easier.
- If you experience delays, cancellations, or other problems, contact us.
- While in a U.S. airport: If you have a delay that jeopardizes a connecting flight -or-you missed a flight -or- your flight has been canceled, please contact the Austrian Program as soon as possible in one of the following ways:
