My friend Isiah Springer-Blacke and I hiked to the steel cross on Book mountain last night. We were surrounded by fog and clouds until about seven pm when the sky cleared up and the stars came out! We had a beautiful view of Gaming and our campus. Even though it was below freezing we managed to sleep a few hours in our tent until 6:30 when we woke up for a beautiful sunrise. The hike was easy, the view was beautiful, but sleeping was extremely tough in the cold weather surrounded by snow and ice.

It was worth it for the unique view. Today I napped and i will go to bed early!
